After undergoing double chin liposuction, patients will receive a post-surgery care pack. The pack will include medications, dressing packs, and a medical-grade facial compression garment. 

As part of your recovery process, you must wear the facial compression garment around the clock for 1 to 2 months, even during sleep, to facilitate a smooth recovery. Sleep on your back during the initial recovery period. Following the double chin liposuction, some soreness can be expected. 

Any bruising usually resolves within ten to fourteen days. You can expect minimal disruption to your daily activities.

Your skin needs time to retract and conform to your new submental contours, but you should experience positive changes after the surgery. While the initial results of your double chin liposuction are immediately noticeable, the optimal outcome will be achieved in 3 to 6 months as the tissue swelling subsides.
