Do you freeze the extracted fat, store it and re-use it later?
No. Fat storage service is not available in Singapore.
Apart from the face, can fat be used in other body parts?
Yes. Fat can be grafted to the hands for hand rejuvenation, breasts for breast enhancement, and buttocks for buttock enhancement.
What if I want more fat-filling later?
We listen to your needs and ensure that your final result looks natural. As such, most patients are satisfied after the first procedure. After about 8 to 12 months from the initial procedure, some may feel that they would like to further enhance the results with additional fat grafting sessions, which would entail a separate fee.
Will ADR-C Facial Enhancement be painful?
A local anaesthetic will be administered to the treated areas during treatment to minimise pain and discomfort. Post-treatment, the patient may experience some soreness, bruising and fullness of the face. Most patients can manage post-op pain and discomfort well with the medications prescribed.
What causes facial volume loss?
As we age, fat mass in the face naturally depletes. This causes the cheekbones and midface to lose their volume, and together with collagen loss, parentheses lines will start to appear. These are lines, also known as nasolabial folds, in the shape of parentheses that form from the nose to the mouth. Fat loss in the face causes the skin to appear thinner, drier and dull.
I'm not ready for facial fat grafting. Any other options to revolumise my facial features?
There are skincare products that can help reduce the appearance of unsightly lines, but they will not eliminate them.
A more effective treatment method is hyaluronic acid fillers. Fillers can correct age-related facial volume loss by plumping up the nasolabial folds for a smoother skin appearance.
